Russian antitrust may check Gazprom’s pipe procurements Fri
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antitrust Service may launch a case against gas giant Gazprom’s pipe procurements on Friday, Andrei Tsarikovsky, the service’s deputy head, told reporters on June 20.
“I am thinking about it and I am ready to present documents to the director, or Igor Yuryevich Artemyev, for the case start,” he said, adding that a decision will be made on Thursday or Friday.
“We are still seeing a relapse of what had happened previously. We are once again seeing centralization, there is an incentive to accumulate all procurements, 35–50% of them.”
